Here is the latest flash from Tamil cinema. The news is that Bollywood beauty Manisha Koirala is back in Kollywood after a big gap.
Manisha’ debut film in Tamil was ‘Bombay’ in which Arvinda Swamy was her hero. Then she switched over to Bollywood and ruled the roost there.
In between, says the buzz, director Shankar managed to have her act in a Tamil film called ‘Mudhalvan’.
The last film Ms. Koirala did in Tamil was the Rajnikant-starrer Baba . Since then, she has not figured in a Tamil flick.
The film, titled ‘Avah’, will be directed by Mani Ratnam ‘s assistant Melin Rao. It is a ghost movie in which Manisha will be paired with Prakash Raj. The shooting of the movie is set to start In Hyderabad on May 10.
The grapevine also says that Kashmira Shah will also be part of the film, to perk up the glamour quotient, of course!
